MJ Bratton and Human Powered Movement are proud to celebrate the grand opening of Confluence, the newest hub for art, music, outdoor recreation and social engagement in the Charlotte, NC area. Situated in downtown Cramerton, NC this public/private partnership provides a platform for local artists to showcase their craft, a space for citizens and visitors to socialize and a resources center to live a healthier and more active lifestyle. Net profits from the collaborative effort go to supporting the South Fork Collective who's mission is to restore the water quality of the river and and improve recreational access to the river MJ Bratton supported the Catawba Riverkeeper and the Town of Cramerton in the conceptualization, branding and program development of the space leading up to the grand opening. Human Powered Movement developed and will maintain a bike rental program, provide a wide range of merch offerings, will host a weekly run club, and produce ongoing educational clinics (Ex: bikepacking 101) and special events (Ex: outdoor film screenings) to promote and facilitate greater human powered experiences. Confluence - Grand OpeningOur in-house brand, Human Powered Movement recently collaborated with Jamis Bikes, a leader in the cycling industry to further engage our collective audiences. A recent Human Powered Movement Journal covering a 650+ mile self-supported bikepacking trip from NC to PA was captured via video and written word. The trip featured and was completed on a Jamis' Renegade C1 bike. Through a partner post on social media, both brands were able to spread their reach to new audiences that have clearly shown an interest in consuming this type of content.
