For the 2nd year in a row MJ Bratton's consumer facing brand Human Powered Movement has been proudly nominated for the Sustain Charlotte Awards.

This annual awards ceremony and community gathering of elected, entrepreneurial, and environmentally minded leaders in the greater Charlotte region has celebrated a wide range of organizations that prioritize eco-friendly business practices in their work.

This year's ceremony is on the eve of our South Fork Sampler Adventure Race, so we will not be able to attend (as we did in 2022) but we are honored to be a part of such an important event to elevate, celebrate and honor those that have prioritized doing what is right for our environment over everything else.

Our aim is to work with brands and organizations that bring high level products and experiences to the consumer. Each of our clients make the communities they serve better places to live, work, and play.

The Premier, a brand new indoor live music and event venue in Hickory, NC is doing exactly that! We're excited to announce that MJ Bratton has recently been engaged to oversee, assess, and consult on their strategic marketing plans and various partnership opportunities.

Set to open in the spring of 2023, The Premier will provide a much needed venue for local and regional acts to bring their music to this brand new 8,000 sq foot venue with a capacity of 600.

The Premier will also host non-music related events and ongoing seasonal and weekly programming for the greater Hickory, NC region to utilize the indoor/outdoor bar and food truck hook ups.

Once again, our in-house brand, Human Powered Movement, has been highlighted in a local destination marketing organization's (DMO) content.

We have worked with Gaston County Tourism Development office on a number of different projects over the years to drive economic development and visitorship to the region, just minutes west of Charlotte, NC.

The articled entitled "10 Reasons to Participate in the Southeast's Newest Adventure Race" focuses on the South Fork Sampler: A Multisport Adventure Race that aims to highlight the unlimited recreational resources in the area, promote small local businesses, inspire environmental and conservational awareness and raise critical dollars for the beneficiary, Catawba Riverkeeper, in their ongoing efforts to ensure clean and plentiful drinking water for the 4+ million people in the river basin.
